Scotland will teach us how to make the team stronger.
nonfiction following the change from the old-fashioned tradition
"soccer grand prize" hosted by kosha,
four members of the selection committee selected the winning works for
football-related books (except practical books and manga) released that year.
in this corner "soccer foreign book guide", the serialization of the quarterly
magazine "football criticism" is reprinted.
Founded in 1873, the Scottish Football Association is the
second oldest association in the world after the English Football Association
(FA). However, because he valued "tradition and formality", the constitution
remained old-fashioned as it was in the 19th century. What was remarkable was
the absence of women allowing them to play football. In 1971, when UEFA
officially voted for the membership of women's football teams, the Scottish
Football Association was the only one to vote "no" to the board.
After that, the world began to focus on women's football, and in 1974, when the
Sexism Prohibition Act was enacted, it was only necessary to allow women to
register as women, but they had to wait until the 1990s for Scottish
"ordinary" women to be able to kick the ball in a dignified manner
without being white-eyed by the public.
Arrival is a nonfiction process that follows the
trajectory of Scottish women who have struggled to allow women to enjoy
football and finally send the 2019 Women's National Team to the World Cup.
After kicking the ball at the age of nine, rose Reilly became a professional
player over Italy and finally played for Italy when he was selected to play for
Scotland but could not play soccer here. Sheila Begbie has always been the face
of Scottish women's football since joining the Edinburgh Dynamo at the age of
13 and being selected to represent the national team at the age of 16. Women
who have been working hard to build and develop Scottish women's football, such
as Shelley Kerr, who grew up in the 1970s when there was a high barrier to
women playing football and captained the national team with strong leadership
and became the national team coach, will be featured.
however, women's football in Scotland was strengthened in
the 1990s when coaches and coaches were actively invited from overseas to
select players without discriminating against each other by race or class.
since taking part in the world cup qualifiers, dutchman vera pau and swede's
anna signal have been appointed as national team coaches to strengthen. he
encouraged the players to move abroad and chose to represent him even if he was
not necessarily from Scotland, regardless of nationality. the increased
diversity has strengthened the team. people from various backgrounds work
together to strengthen the team. the Scottish women's national team will tell
us about that.
Barondor continues to fight
discrimination. the story of a soccer player who persisted in his belief even
after being removed from the national team
The excitement grew with each page,
and when I finished reading it at once, I was overwhelmed by the size of the
message that Megan Rapineau had issued and was a little dumbfounded. In Her
First Autobiography, One Life ( or Life ), in which Megan Rapinaud, captain of
the U.S. Women's Soccer National Team, talked about her football life from
childhood to the present day, Rapinaud says most, "How can I contribute to
society as an athlete?" It is about the way of life which tackles the
problem.
a small town called Reading in Northern California,
Papineau was born a Biovail twin sister and grew up in a large family with his
brothers, grandmothers, aunts, and cousins. The house was never wealthy, but my
parents valued their families and supported them with all they wanted to do.
Thanks to this, the Papineau sisters joined the soccer team of local boys from
an early age and began kicking the ball, and they soon became famous and
received recommendations as sports special program students from many
universities. Papineau has been selected to represent the United States since
he was 16 years old and has built a successful career.
however, when he realized that he was gay in his first
year of college, and when he came out, he was shocked by the negative reaction
shown by his mother and others, which inspired Papineau to become an
"activist who fights discrimination." what is amazing is "isn't
this discrimination?" It is to raise the voice publicly when it comes to
thinking, "this problem is mine" by reading the book, begging the
expert for the teaching, hearing the activist's story, and pursuing knowledge
and the theory until I am convinced when it hits the event which thinks, "this
problem is mine". and, the glance always turns to the weak. I'm conscious
of being a social strongman in a privileged position of being from the white
middle class, and I'm always thinking about what I can do for those who are
weaker than me.
THEREFORE, IT WAS A NATURAL ACT FOR RAPINEAU TO PUT ON
ONE KNEE AT THE NATIONAL ANTHEM CHORUS BEFORE THE GAME, TO BOW, AND TO SHOW
POSTURE WHICH PROTESTED RACISM. THAT WAS WHEN RAINE FC PLAYED AGAINST THE
CHICAGO RED STARS IN SEPTEMBER 2016. PAPINEAU GOT DOWN ON ONE KNEE AND REFUSED
TO SING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM IN THE NATIONAL TEAM GAME AFTERWARDS. FOOTBALL
FEDERATION FINALLY MADE A STATEMENT THAT IT WOULD REQUIRE A POSE TO STAND UP
AND PUT ONE HAND ON ITS CHEST DURING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM, AND PAPINEAU, WHO DID
NOT FOLLOW, WAS REMOVED FROM THE NATIONAL TEAM FOR A WHILE.
PAPINEAU IS ALSO TAKING ACTION ON GENDER PAY AND
TREATMENT GAPS. BEFORE THE 2019 WORLD CUP, HE SUED THE UNITED STATES FOOTBALL
FEDERATION WITH 27 COLLEAGUES SEEKING TO RECTIFY HIS SEXIST TREATMENT. HE HAS
ALSO CRITICIZED FIFA FOR THE GENDER GAP IN PRIZE MONEY AND TREATMENT.
With the corona disaster endangering the holding of
sporting events and the Olympic and Paralympic Games being severely
constrained, not only athletes and staff but also those who seek dreams for
sports are being asked what kind of stance they should enjoy and support
sports. There's no right answer to that, but Rapineau's attitude in One Life
should be somewhat helpful. Papineau concludes at the end. "Everything is
changing, times are changing. But change has only just begun. Let's move
forward! Now is the time to be together!"
